Deliberation Poem by sherrie marker

The day has ended
The sun's gone down
Darkness has descended
And the night has just begun

It’s time to ponder
Though drained and weary
It’s time to let the mind wander
To answer life’s queries

While the mind begins to explore
Every fleeting thought,
It discovers nothing more
Yet, it understands quite a lot

The sun is rising
The darkness gone
Old queries missing
But new ones will be born.
