Delightful Food Fest Poem by Marilyn Lott

Delightful Food Fest

Don’t you love to visit places
Where people go to eat?
Hot dogs are so delicious
Or perhaps something kind of sweet

Pizza with all the toppings
Are scrumptious on a hungry day
Our appetites are definitely raging
Let’s order without any delay

Nuts you can get by the cone-full
They are salty and crunchy too
There are just so many good choices
Chose something that’s perfect for you

The smell of tacos and fajitas
Just beg you to get in the line
So hungry we think we’re starving
We love to eat them any ole’ time

Corn on the cob is perfect
Steaming with butter all around
I know you will find it perfect
Delicious with a crunchy sound

A turkey leg of man-sized proportion
You can sink you teeth deeply into
What a delightful day I will have
Perhaps I might even see you!
