Demon Poem by Tshering Chekii

Demon

The silence reverberated in my mind
With the loudest cranking sound,
Waking the sedated demons in me.
The demons who laugh at me,
Fight for no reason,
Objecting my every moves
And exhausting me to death.
The world shouted for their reasons
But I shut them up
"You don't be the one,
I have my own demons to deal with."
