Depression Poem by William Weight

Depression

When you look into my eyes
Is it me you're looking for or
The one that has left you

You coulkd only be happy
When he was high and
you're drunk out of your mind

Does he take your pain away or
Is he the reason for the scars you wear
See the cross you make me bear

Can you understand the reason i'm down
The things that may happen
When he's around

The chance of a lost love and
The never ending cycle of m depression

Build your walls high
So no one can get inside
outside I stand trying to tear it down
I stop to think
'Did he tear down your wall,
or is he the reason it's so high.'
