Description Of A Broken Heart Poem by Christal Carpenter

Description Of A Broken Heart

Picture a heart, Big and full
Tear it in half, Take one piece
Scrunch it up, Then throw it
In a blazing fire, There's the half
That should love, My father
Scratch away, A piece for every
Time I moved, For every friend
I never had, Carve into my heart
As many times, As I've carved
Into my arm, Chip away at it
For every guy, I loved that
Broke my heart, Even more
But some how, I can still love
With all the, Little pieces

I love this poem Christal. The culmination of all the times life has hurt us makes us die inside alittle, but then hope brings us back to life.
