Design Poem by Anisa Witham

Design

You pick the biggest one they got,

When you get back home you think,

And you think of what you want to design it.

You think maybe a clown, no that is not scary,

You think maybe just maybe a face.

You take out a knife slowly hold it to the head of it,

Then you drive it into its head slowly forming a circle.

Once your done with that you grab it by its hair and pull.

You dig your arm in and pull out gushy gooey stuff,

When you get all that out you go back to the front,

You take your knife again and dig slowly but hard into the face,

Making a design so beautiful, so scary that no man would want to see.

After you design him you take a candle and stick it in his head,

Ah what a beautiful Jack O Lantern!
