Despair Poem by AKELLA S. RATNAM

Despair

DESPAIR

Like the dolphin  emerging out of ocean For a brief moment to be sighted/

Ideas in hibernation spurt out in a jiffy/

Leaving no tangible shape./

Throbbing heart shoots emotions out/

As water in stormy sea throws sheets/

Leaving no traces on dry sand./

Unformed ideas and inexpressible feelings are nothing but the mist on the falls. /

Woe begone! The distressed souls/

Unable to dress them in words /

Remain deprived of worthy pleasure.
