Despair Poem by Joseph Walls

At times this life throws us in a despair.
And we may think that life isn't fair.
We help people out, just like you.
And all we want is a friend who is true.
Often, we just want to be accepted for who we are.
And that is why I wish upon the star.
And have a wish I can carry with me.
Through the depths of my heart for all to see.
When we go through this life of despair.
I wonder if there is a person out there.
And that person is wanting the same thing as me.
I will have to wait and be patient for all to see.
