DESPAIR IS NOWHERE TO GO

Despair is nowhere to go
And nothing to do
And no hope
Despair is the end of the road
A sinking inside
An intimation of death
Despair is loss and emptiness
And silent anger
Eating at oneself
Despair is nowhere to go
Nothing to do
And self- contempt inside
Despair is knowing
Even Death is no way out
The darkness and the prison
And the helplessness
Are forever
Despair is despair
No way out
Nothing but contempt for oneself
And darkness forever going downward
