Desperation Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Desperation

A mother with three children
walking the streets
with no place to go
no possessions
only clothes they are wearing
and shoes upon their feet
Leaving in desperation…
from the abuse they loath

Entering the office
of social services…
Not knowing where else to go
searching blind
A frail mother
with a wounded soul
begging for help...
trying to protect her children
seeking peace of mind...
