Destined

Some souls are bound
to a certain direction
A linear plane
indicating limited extension

Some souls are headed
to a certain depth
Suffering and deprivation
unrequited bereft

Some souls are destined
no matter the reason
To sustain the living
all through the seasons

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
