Soledades del libro pensante que extraña / Loneliness of the thinking book which wonder
la vieja abadía perdida en el tiempo / the old abbey lost in time
gárgolas rondan la torre elevada / gargoyles around the high tower
caricias de viento conmueven su asentada calma / winbd caress stirs up its consolidated quiet

Los frailes abajo perdonan los hechos / Dountstairs the friars forgives the bad acts
disfrazan de errores los malos pensares / they disguise as mistakes all the bad thinking
Cual hoyo en el tiempo la herida se cierra / Like a time hole the wound gets closed
cegando a los mártires del muérdago errante / blinding the martyrs of the straying mistletoe

El punte del pueblo / The place of the village
que espera los jueves / which waits for the thursday
la hora indicada para dejar el tributo / the indicated time to leave the tribute
riquezas de entonces provistas de llantos / richness of then provided of crying
la pesada puerta se abre y recibe / the heavy door opens to receive

No queda mas tiempo para los juglares / There's no futher time for the minstrels
ha llegado la hora de escribir memorias / now is the time to write memories
pero no conviene que nadie se entere / but is not convenient that anybody realice
de los olvidos de nunca que el alba aclarara / about the never forgotten lighted by the dawn

La luz ilumina los bajos cimientos / The light illuminates the dowm grounds
rompiendo los ojos de los buenos dias / braking up the eyes of the goods days
despiertan los habitos de la rutina / the rutinary habits awake
de ayer de la torre / from the day before,
la calma se asienta / the tower consolidates it's quiet

Los viejos misterios no cierran su enigma /Old misteries doesn't close it's enigmas
buscando penumbras atraen audaces / searching twilights attracts the audacius
que dejarán sus vidas debajo del prisma / whom left its lifes under the prism
que soltaran demonios en sus letanías / that devils released in their litanys

Aquel que no entienda / That one who don't understand
solo cumple el destino / just acomplish the destiny
escrito hace tiempo para los mortales / wrote log time ago for the mortals
luchando en silencio entre las mentiras / figthing in silence among the lies
tejidas por dioses para postergarlos / spined by gods to hold them back
