Destiny Poem by Rebecca Wiles

Destiny

Through the winds of change, I can see your smiling face.
I see you in the summer sun, I can see you in every place.
I can see you in the tree tops, I can feel you in the air,
I can feel you in my heart, I can feel you everywhere.

Destiny, Destiny
I hear you call my name.
Destiny, Destiny
I feel life's going to change.

I hear you in the midnight rain, I hear your whispering voice,
'You cannot runaway, you have got no choice.'
I hear you in a silent song, and in my thoughts at night,
'Come to me my child, you don't have to fight.'

Destiny, Destiny
I hear you call my name.
Destiny, Destiny
I feel life's going to change.

I tried to escape you, but nothings as it seems.
You haunt my every waking breath, you haunt all my dreams.
I might as well, give up now, and smile through the rain.
Destiny, oh destiny I know life's going to change.
