Destiny Poem by Elizabeth Alejandra

Meeting her was his destiny
loving her was not a choice
he gave her his heart and she took it with her
his first time loving someone and he gave it all
she said I love you but she meant I feel alone
she said I'll be back soon but now I have to go
I'll never give up, I will come back for you my love.

The time had passed and she never came back
she let his sky turn gray and his time stop
he started dying on the inside same as a flower dies
and he waited too long and like that he got old
with her illusions she made his destiny
but she decided to give up and never come back
no one knew why he was crying
he never about it want it to talk.

Everyone asked themselves who stole his heart?
That woman took with her all his value of love
he is now so lonely, he forgot how to smile
with his silence he waited and waited and like that he died
she marked his destiny and no one ever knew why he cried
I know the reason. He was crying for a love who never came back
and he waited and kept his illusions till the moment he died
