Destiny Poem by Sarita Milliner

When I came into this world, I received the gift of life,
Just an innocent young thing, unaware of my plight!
But soon I received, the best gifts from above,
God gave me his blessings, grace, favor and love.
 
God granted me courage to face the world unknown,
And whispered in my ear, to let me know I was not alone.
He equipped me with strength, to resist temptation,
And laced my mind with wisdom to aide my decisions.
 
As the years’ progressed, I learned many things,
All the while wondering, what the future would bring.
It didn’t take long, for me to understand,
That God was guiding my foot steps as he held my hand.
