Looking back on yesterday,
I see mistakes I've made,
But then came I to the cross of Christ
Whose blood covered my every sin.
Now Heaven is, is my destiny
Heaven is, is my destiny.
Cause sin no longer has a hold on me.
I've got the sword of the word,
And, I'm filled with the Spirit.
The battle has now begun.
There is no retreat.
The devil is, is a defeated foe.
The devil is, is a defeated foe.
Oh yes, Heaven is, is my destiny.
Heaven is, is my destiny.
To be with Jesus, the one who died for me.
