Destiny Unwritten (C) 7-9-2012

I realize many factors could've led to my inexistence
The strands sewed together that makes up my genes are 1 in infinite
No one's DNA is the same, we're all unique independent
So in this life my pen dents the pages Destiny Unwritten

I listen to her words and I realize how precious life really is
She was raised in the 50s to grow up and deliver silly kids
One of em happened to be the firstborn and my maternal basis
From her I was born in the social status of the first of most unique races

But it could've all changed if it wasn't for her first pregnancy within that year
The first was murdered 5 months before I was conceived restricted from shedding it's tear
To a young black girl it's hard to spare a life that you can't see
When you're told your life'll be ruined, upon raisin this seed

It was a hard decision to make and I wonder if she ever asked if it was right
To give away her adolescence and exciting nights for this incessant life
If given the chance to travel in time would she make the other decision?
I'd hope not but if so would the Universe suffer from inner collision?

I've dreamt about the days inside her womb what if I was sucked away
An embryo that never got to breathe or utter words when it had something to say
I thank the lovers of life all of the ones who are to praise because the conscienceless did it
I wonder if a rose is taken from Earth after bein planted does anyone miss it?

Is it the same as if it was never sowed, because I'd rather have my soul sold to the soulless
Than to feel my soles hit the ground above the spot where God's creation was growin
I understand now if she never came back to Buffalo city
She never would've got pregnant with my mother to get pregnant with me

It's incomprehensible to the imperfect human mind, inexistence
The grasp of succumbin to death is null because I believe myself infinite
Who would have sprung forth if for my biological my mom wasn't smitten?
I'm destined to live for the day I write my fate my destiny is unwritten
