Devil's Temptation Poem by Thomas Spencer

Devil's Temptation

Rating: 4.2

divine is the beast within
sculpted to the devil's temptation
perfect as perfect can be
the integrity of the is lost with the sight of she
thoughts of sanity are all but lost
for she steals their soul, heart and cross
sin is what sin does
invite she does to the sina's club
one look at her will never do
you stare at her day or flu
although beauty is an absent problem
the character of she raises all but inquiries
never know what lies within
the soul of an angel of fantasy
or the devil's aid in death and misery

I really like this one as well! Do you ever write free verse? If not, you should give it a shot.

This is my personal gave, Thomas. I love the way the devil is portrayed as a woman ad the suffering she brings to those that engage her. At least, that's what I got from it. Good piece. Best, Sarah
