Devil Yeti In Disguise Poem by Philo Yan

Devil Yeti In Disguise

He blushes a shade of tomato red
The Devil is never born but bred
Into this world we have all read
that the Devil is a dude dressed in fiery red!

I can feel his fire burning bright
His red shot eyes looked left then right
He may be a Devil in disguise
and with famed Yeti's glowing eyes,
They are both really very decent guys.....

Hello Michael Thank you for taking the time to reply and for your suggestion. Indeed, I started writing prose by accident when a friend challenge me to write a poem and this particular poem was written in jest with some of my friends. I am not sure what you mean when you say, quote, a regiment of double Frangelico with a warm Guinness back I wish you every success in your work.

Aloha Philo... Caught your bio and focused on your request for rapport... I have found that the most simple of polite conversations creates a mood that allows a more concise free write... and prose is the quest for a better free write... now honing that enticing subject into a better bit of poetry... that takes some research, and a few deliberate personal choices... You have a fine body of work posted here at ph.c You have the time and resources to review each of your posts... after some years you have developed a satisfying interest in how your words are accepted in these circles... Now is the time to choose a poetic genre... and fine tune a few of your past posts into the form required to be considered as a proper poem... Might I suggest a regiment of double Frangelico with a warm Guinness back... one round each as you decide on your new pathway into the more complicated fields of the poetic universe... Oh... I do business with both of these fellows you mention in this post... and yes, within the limited expanse of my own poetic torment... I have found some personal satisfaction with the ways I have progressed as a composer of words that bend and twist and weave and jest... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two.
