dear diary, i
neglected you some days

daily routines and
demands other humans stood in the way

overpowering feelings i
walked, nay, strutted off in a circle

-stimming- or spoke in a
cosy ear - it looked at me, listened

to commit feelings to
you would be to affirm them but i

pushed them away or let
layers of future slip upon them

in a diary i am the sender
and receiver but phoning i reach

a mind entwined with me for
a moment, for an hour, for now
