Did You Say You Were Funny? Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Did You Say You Were Funny?

You were funny from the start.
I had to admit that right away.
You made jokes and a jokester of yourself.
You were a clown indeed.

But then one day,
The funniest day of your life,
Came the funniest joke with laughter rife.
It made my day.

You always make my day.
