Did you sleep together
Were you touching
Did you feel warmth next to you
Were you breathing together
Did a cough alarm you
Did you move together and apart
Engaged in the dance of sleep
Did you leave and come back
Attending to nature's calls
Joyful on return to shared bed
Did you wake up with gratitude
The indescribable joy of greeting your heart's desire
Welcoming sharing the coming day
Thankful for night's rejuvenation.
