Die Death Poem by PHIL WINTER

Die Death

Rating: 5.0

Die death!
Die wicked death in sleep!
Forget your dreams,
Your mission and your means.
Die death!
And leave the world behind.
Wing on!
Past buildings, ages,
Cemeteries and leap!
Die death!

I could not die,
Nor even sleep!
Through centuries
The watch I keep!
The call me death,
But I 'm new life!
The course of nature
Must be felt.

What do you wish?
Long life and wealth?
To take them where
No place can hold,
For time and space
In essence reel
As changes fight
To gain control.

They call me death,
But I 'm new life!
As dual forces disengage
it is my task
To watch and wait
The final chapters
Of all beings.
