Difference Makes Us Interesting Poem by Francis Duggan

Difference Makes Us Interesting

We look at life one might say quite differently
And on very few subjects we seem to agree
The opinions you express are quite different to mine
What you think is your business and that suits me fine
By the way that we think and the things that we say
Each person is different in some sort of way
The wise one not always dressed in the best clothes
Difference makes us interesting one would have to suppose
Not every writer can be a great playwrite or novelist or poet
And not everyone can be one worthy of note
Success in life can be a relative thing
Depend on whose praises you have chosen to sing
We all look at things in a different way
Suppose such is life as some are known to say.
