Different Things Poem by Paul Prescott

Different Things

Flowers have many colours,
Stars have many names,
Sex has its reasons,
Years has its seasons,
People have different occupations,
People have different religions.

Songs have different meanings,
Poetry has different feelings,
Food has its different taste,
Sense has its different smell,
Crime can have no trace,
Towns can have the same place

Everything can be different,
Or everything can be the same,
But loving you today,
Will always be the same,
In every single way
