Difficulties Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Is it hard to write a poem?
Is it hard to write a line?
I do it all the time now,
Both in Scan and Rhyme.

I wanted a Sabbatical
From daily writing poems,
So I asked HIM to stop sending me
Words and Thoughts to keep me going.

I used to write three poems per day,
And sometimes ~ maybe five.
But with in excess of five hundred written,
I wanted more to Life.

What is this that has happened?
Why has this Poet begun again?
To write at least one poem daily.
To make again active my brain.

The words do flow on paper,
I hardly think at all,
It is a Gift HE has given me,
To write Poems for one and all.
