Dirty Laundry Poem by Jessie Jett

Dirty Laundry

Wear it.
Wear it out.
Over wear it.
Run it down.
Put it on.
Take it off.
Piled up.
Piled on.
Thrown around.
Used.
Unused.
Torn and ragged.
Brand new, hanging pristine.
Touched.
Not touched.
Lost, forgotten.
Stained.
Outgrown.
Change everyday.
The folds, a crease.
A rip, a stain.
Run down, slowly fade.
Older in time.
An old piece of laundry.
A worn down mind.
