It gets a little confusing when you pretend you don't like me
When I, certainly feel an attraction
And no there's no commitment to someone else,
at least not on my end
Everytime that we're together it seems everything is well
So, Why not we start dating and just see what happens from there?
I shy away from the possibility, hey, you might be involved
And I don't want to get hurt emotionally
To you, I could be everything that you've wanted
Intstead of pretending your not into me or us being an item
Try with being more honest with what you may feel
We both know something is here, so what gives?
I would not be here if I wasn't interested
And I'd like us to be more than just friends
In which you've already stated that you were looking for the same
Just how could that be when you're with another
The chemistry we have is rare to those who'd struggle to find love
You may think you're in love with that individual
It will never amount to the love we share
And you already know that I can't be replaced
Here's to us that will never be
