Discarded Lovers Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Discarded Lovers

Rating: 3.5

When we leave
discarded lovers.
It is because
we have already left.

Why can a person’s
second family
mean appreciably
so much more
to an individual.

Because a mature person
can give people
all the gentleness.
Gentleness picked up
painfully along the way.
