Disclaimers Poem by Cee Bea

Disclaimers

it became clear that it meant more
than I imagined
and after days of desert drifting
the boiling sun, by right
cast separate and defined shadows
that drew a line, thus... applying the
the science of silence

but if the world is noise-less
I can't hear it and dismiss it like
cracks in a sidewalk or spilt milk

reliance in the long run
along with wide smiles pointed
at the absurd, become the tools
that help wrap up all disclaimers
 and move on quite nicely
