Dissonance - Poem by Eric Gallagher

Do not search for warmth in others
You will find only pain
You once were warm yourself
Weren't you?
Thrown into the harsh cold
And the severe nature of others
Were you shocked at what you found?
The cold
The ruthless
The self-serving
And beyond that only chaos
But there is beauty in the dissonance
You only need to know where to look

Some are not shocked, some are contained in hell and are use to it,
