Distant Travellers Poem by Kevin Kavanagh

Distant Travellers

Comets from the great beyond
Brushing past our earth
Lonely distant travellers
From whom God knows their birth
Skipping stones across the pond
Reflections of our lives
Evershifting sands of time
Conceal our years from sight
Morning mist upon the hills
Portray a veil of white
Slowly moving rising sun
Restores our souls with light.
