Diversity Poem by Marie Roy

Diversity

I love my own kind
Therefore the treat my with words so unkind
And give me reason to hide

They say that they can accept
But still seem to have a one mind concept
I wish I could change the way that they percept

They tell me it's a choice
Please just hear my voice
It's a womens touch that makes me feel rejoiced

Yes I am a lesbian
Believe it or not I am still human
