Divine Nature Poem by Yasmin Khan

Divine Nature

Rating: 5.0

In the pitched darkness of night
When silence walks with heavy feet
The lantern of hope weaves its bright
Strands through the somber dark sheet

And at first blush when quiet fright
Is dissolved, the sun's golden rays greet
Silvery moon in dusky dawn, a heavenly sight
When morn birds sing songs sweet

Woolly packs like illumined boats
Anchorless on the wings of winds
In the morning sky gaily float
And aloft a nightingale rapturously sings

My spirit whirls in blissful fervour
To the soft whispers of gentle breeze
My soul in communion with Divine Nature
My heart sails with the silver dinghy in the auroral seas
