Divorce Poem by PERSIAN NIGHTINGALE

Divorce

Rating: 5.0

In my life course
I had failed to enforce
Any sort of
Gravitational force

In the darkest night
A white horse
A light source
Saved me
Divorce

I like the tension created between the 'heavy' first stanza + first line of the second one and 'light' hope finally found out in the last three lines. It describes very well the tearing between a dark necessary situation and the way hope driving to new expectations. An intense write. 10
