Dnd Poem by Ganesh Veeraraghavan

Dnd

Dnd...

Nature sent me a message
She has specially dressed for me
She bid me to come out and see
And enjoy her smiling visage

I was busy counting my notes
And let the day passed
I looked out of the window
Saw her tears in flow

Nature sent me a letter
She holds her bossom warm
For the embrace of my arm
And dance through the hour

I was busy climbing the ladder
Anchored on the humble and poor
I looked from the dizzy heights
In winter cold she froze

Nature sent me a call
She's adorned herself with flowers
She begged me to see her colours
Before the autumn fall

I was busy with my business
To scale up the rising charts
I looked out from the graphs
Dried up leaves like dross

Nature sent me a mail
She is ready with darkened clouds
She asked me to savor her waters
And the summer rain hail

I was busy with political manuveore
Selling dreams to my voter
I looked out from my campaign van
The beautiful rains were gone

Nature sent me an invitation
She's cooked beautiful seasons
I should taste one if not six
And eat to my satisfaction...

I was busy making my plans
How to grab bigger lands
I looked out from my documents
Seasons vanished just dust and stench

It's everyday she seeks to pleasure
Every hour allure
Every day one sweet invite
Every hour she waits to greet

I am busy for the pleasure she offers
Busy for her treasures
When I 'm done with business
She'll be there for me I guess....
