Do It For You Poem by William Roseboro Sr.

Do It For You

Rating: 4.0

All your life, so generous at heart,
contributing to someone else.
Don't you think, it's about time,
you do something good for yourself? Pack a bag. Fly like a bird.
Take off for places unknown.
Somewhere peace, and quiet you'll find,
which cannot be found at home! Say goodbye for just a while,
to the heartache, the misery, the pain.
Soar as the Eagle, forget your troubles
Just do it! Don't try to explain! Walk some beach, in a soothing rain!
Breathe fresh air, and clear your brain!
Turn your world from chaos to sane!
Just do it! Don't try to explain!
