Do Not Affilaite Poem by okot innocent angeeyo

Do Not Affilaite

Like a fraternity member you care about them,
You plan for safety, and goodness of them all,
Again you think them family even when you have none,
You vowed death, blindly! To them.
The group is you and you are, the group,
In your illusion.
I warn you, don’t affiliate!

Unity and affiliations are two entities,
Affiliation is feeling like you owe them everything,
Uniting is appreciating and supporting what they do.
In affiliation you are them,
In uniting you are a partner,
Better unite not affiliate, for you can never,
Know them head to toe,
Good to bad,
Yesterday to tomorrow,
Poverty to riches,
I just say don’t affiliate
Just unite.
