Do We Sleep?
do we sleep?
do we wake always?
At night we dream
so in sleep we wake.
And in the morning
tired sinews sleep
sub-conscious and secret
while the body machine works.
We wake and sleep
and sleep and wake
and march
together
a cluster and a herd
we march
we march
conscious in part
sub-conscious in part
always, always.
We, who are we?
It is the I, myself!
We is I.
We is I, the Poet Seer.
