Do We Want Such Worships? Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Do We Want Such Worships?

Hindus have got hundreds of gods.
They go to them for a fortune.
They go to them for a relief.
As and when or if they get them
They put the god sought was the cause.
They stick to them and make them rich.
They forgo norms, with gods guarding.
The filth in them is unaddressed.
No Hindus go for repenting.
No Hindus go for reforming.
