Doctor (6) (A Country Doctor) Poem by U Win Kyi

In a far away remote land
there lives a kind man.
He is a country doctor
caring poor villagers.
He is all year-round on call
no matter spring, summer, winter or fall.
He treats all the illness
easy, difficult or serious.
From head to toe whatever the disease,
he will surely relieves.
Though the hospital is poorly- equipped,
for saving life he never calls it quit.
Crossing the torrential river,
he reaches to the disease-sufferers.
Climbing the rugged mountain,
he treats the patients with pain.
He gives health education to public,
about living clean and hygienic.
Rich or poor, he treats patients the same.
He knows not about his personal fame.
Money is not what he cares.
He always tries to be a good doctor.
