Doctored Profiles Poem by Veeraiyah Subbulakshmi

Doctored Profiles

Rating: 5.0

Doctored are the people,
Who May be fourteen or in nineties,
like to change their age and sex in profiles,
Certainly prove their disrepute,
Of not believing their own ability,
May think that their cloaks,
Can be changed as fast as the clouds,
With the designs of sun peeping through,
From dark to white, always on the run,
Below the predictable moon and stars,
Leaving the message to the debt collectors,
That the father is not hiding in the barn,
The fruit cakes on the plates,
Definitely carry the same' nuts' and fruits,
Be happy for who and what you are,
Cheating is not a game but a shame.

Impersonation and pretension are the two sides of the same coin. In this world of neutralized values and ethics we stare at one another. A great truth has been well driven home madam!

Cheating is bad and codemnable. People try to be others because of impoverished self worth
