Dodging The Truth Poem by Beth Ann

Dodging The Truth

So maybe I was
Desperate for the truth
But you had to of known that

I tried to get you
To tell me many of time
It's all I ever wanted you to do

But all you can do is
Evade and Dodge
Like this is some kind of
Dodge ball game

I guess deep down
I knew you would never
Admit to doing it
And I know why
You won't either

And That there is no
Way that we can
Ever re-establish anything
