(Dodgy Dave Tale) Crisco Kid

Oh! Everyone hold onto your hats
This tale is inspired after David took a bath
The one on a sunny day with no rain
As the bus pulled up seeing David soaking wet in vain

That was David's tale of 'It Rains On His Parade'
Maybe you'll want to read it before I talk of this charade
You see I talked of David's plight
Of how he got soaked when the sun was so bright

You'll have to read his funny Tale
To understand better the details
Then read the comment left by dear Mr Marvin Goldfarb
As he gets in his funny barb

David is always having trouble with the size of his frame
6 foot and 3 inches he proclaims
It has given him many knots on his head
Or he'll lose sight of his wife that he wed
(When they dance he can see right over her head)

David claims a cloud of rain follows him wherever he goes
And rain mixed with manure in his boots makes him grow
Well my friend... Marvin has come up with a solution for you
'Crisco' the 'Shortening' just might do!

It is 'shortening' that may bring you down in size
If nothing else the rain will not be your demise
For lathering in 'Crisco' the rain can't penetrate
And you'll be dry to the bone but one slippery mate

SO....my new name I give you for your Deadwood Town
Is 'Crisco Kid'...smile...don't wear a frown: O)
