Dogs Can Fly and Cats Can Sing

Dogs can fly
and cats can sing.
Yes, they do,
everyday!
Fish can dance
and snakes can walk.
It's no lie!
I can shoot
lightning out of my eyes
and you can jump
as high as the clouds.
How do I know that
these things can
happen?
Dreams and
dreams and
fantasies.
Dogs and cats
and fish and snakes
and you and me-
we all dream.
We all dream
of doing these
things, and so
we can.

When biting Boreas, fell and doure,

When Phoebus gies a short-liv'd glow'r,
