Hey there, how ya been?
What's goin' on? How ya doin'?
Me? I've been fine.

I lost my job an my girl
Had to move back in with mom
Got a parking ticket
From some punk cop
So I punched him in the face
Had to do some time
But now I'm done with that place

Hey man, I'm doin fine

After I got out
I still didn't get what it's all about
Started testing with some drugs
Found cocaine and fell in love
Got to hangin with the wrong crowd
Got AIDS from sleepin around
Watched a friend take his own life
But I've still got mine

Hey man, I'm doin fine

Now a days If found myself
A new place, turned on the lights
To clear out the haze
Got me a pretty lady and
We're engaged
I've payed for my mistakes
Learned how to stand up straight
With my crooked spine
