Doing And Undoing Me Poem by Sarojkanta Dash

Doing And Undoing Me

They killed me instantly
Naked
Primitively bloody:
The dhol dragged me out
Thunderstruck me laid-
Dazed
Hypnotic,
In an underground cave
The nishan choked me
Near to death,
Trampled by the tasha
I looked meager
Just restored,
The mohuri lured me
Killed
And spread in the air
There to be the Om.
