Doing My Best As A Kid Poem by Ella Mae Protacio

Doing My Best As A Kid

Rating: 5.0

Though I'm just a kid,
Though my hopes are dead,
My heart's aim will lead,
Like a real man should.

In a losing game,
I am never shame,
For after a while,
There's something to smile.

Though hopes had to die,
And dreams had to die,
In the games I play,
I'm the best, I say.

Like the stars that shine,
In never ending line,
I will smile with glance,
And will sprightly dance.

I'll stick to the fight,
With my hardest bit,
And my stongest hit,
I will never quit.

I may win or lose,
As the gods may choose
There's lot of chances,
To show my very best.
