Don'T Poem by Phillip Alan Green

Don'T

Don't make the same mistake,
You made with me before,
Don't say that you still love me,
As I know what lies are for.

Don't say you understand me,
To try and win my heart,
Don't ever say you know me,
For I will have no part.

Don't flatter me with pretty words,
Just to confuse my thoughts,
Don't try and sway me to your cause,
Far I cannot be bought,

Just listen now, to my word,
I don't want you to cry,
So long, farewell, au revoir,
And goodbye, you cow, goodbye.
