Don'T Degrade What You Don'T Understand Poem by Angel Jordan

Don'T Degrade What You Don'T Understand

Don't patronize my ways,
if you have yet to understand.
Ignorance pays,
and stupidity is bland.

Don't forbid me,
what you have done before.
Accusing eagerly,
what you have told in lore.

Proving incompetent,
my faith in you dwindles.
Telling 'REPENT! ',
as my passion rekindles.

Do not forsake,
what you have yet to learn.
Do not mistake,
what others tend to yearn.

Your words begin to falter,
as you realize your fault.
You cannot alter,
what is uttered in hault.

The pupil I accuse,
is none other than one.
It was a ruse,
A game they have won.
